This year's Scots' Angel is a high school junior named Tucker Santillanes.
 

On September 19th, during a football game between David Douglas and Gresham, Gresham Jr. Tucker Santilles was critically injured.  Tucker suffered a severe spinal injury during the contest that required emergency surgery to repair his C5 Vertebrae.   After surgery, Tucker spent 12 Day in the ICU and was eventually moved to Randalls Children's Hospital where he as been for the past 2 months.​
